Amaime recognized to the Government in Murcia as an honorary member of the Association of Support for Child Abuse

The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, said yesterday during the course of the charity dinner makes Amaime (Murcia Association for the Support of Abused Children) which as been recognized as an honorary member stated that the Government of Spain 60,000 euros for this year in the program against child abuse.

González Tovar, explained that the objective of the Programme Against Child Abuse is to promote actions aimed at improving the system of child protection in social difficulties for smaller enjoy a full development which guarantee all their rights.

In this regard, stressed that the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero is working hard on prevention, detection, notification and intervention in situations of abuse to children, and made from full cooperation with all regional governments.

It also recalled that the Government of Spain through the Ministry of Health and Social Policy has earmarked for this year, 88,000 euros in measures programs for young offenders in an open environment.
