At 18.00 hours the day has been a concentration of Republican Social Movement political party in the Plaza de Santo Domingo in this city, the celebration had been previously communicated to the Government Delegation in Murcia.
An hour earlier, a large group of people have come to the site in order to interfere with that concentration, to what the Brigade Provincial Public Safety have been involved sealing off the venue for the event to prevent any violent incidents.
Given this performance, the second group members tried to break the police cordon-throwing blunt objects such as bricks and bottles and direct attack on the agents, who have been forced to use defensive measures to repel attacks and keep the fence set up in anticipation of violence.
As a result of these incidents have been wounded five policemen and damage has occurred in street furniture.
Moved to police to two participants in these events, which have been released after making the necessary arrangements for charging for the crime of public disorder, injuries and crimes against the exercise of fundamental rights.
Subsequently, a group of people has gathered outside the headquarters of the Police Headquarters of Murcia to protest the transfer into custody of the two suspects.
