The UJCE denounces "the brutality of the national police in the Plaza Santo Domingo" (24/04/2010)

The Young Communist League (UJCE) denounced "the permissiveness of the Government Delegation in Murcia allowing MSR, a group of neo-Nazi ideology, manifested in racist and xenophobic slogans."

"It seems incredible that in the XXI century will allow people who base their ideology of hate and racism, go out to proclaim slogans against immigrants, LGBT, or just left," said Jose Leon, Secretary General the UJCE.

In addition denounce "police brutality, they have protected neo-Nazi demonstrators, armed with sticks and bottles, which have attacked anti-fascist demonstrators. The National Police have charged indiscriminately at young people who just showed his rejection, massive and united against fascism."

According to the Young Communist League, "after numerous police raids UJCE a militant, a member of the demonstration, he was accosted and beaten on the outskirts of La Merced (Universidad de Murcia) by the National Police and taken to police station. Is charged with a offense of disorderly conduct when his only action has been repudiated fascism without resorting to violence. He was released after pressure from the over one hundred citizens who went to the police station in solidarity with the two detainees. "

From the Young Communists condemn these acts calling for dismissal of the case against his comrade, and require no permit or once again that the fascist, racist and homophobic hits the streets.
