The Department of Youth and Employment, headed María Dolores Sánchez, starts this weekend a number of workshops and youth activities to be developed in the spaces La Nave (Bacons Bridge) and 585M2 (Santa María de Gracia) during the months April to June.

585M2 offers workshops:

- Dance.

African dance, tango, world dance, latin dance and salsa, flamenco, breakdance.

- Physical Activity.

Pilates, capoeira, self defense, kung fu, and fencing.

- Languages.

Languages Inglés Club.

- Drawing and Painting.

Artistic calligraphy and painting and making thumbnails.

- Drama.

- Laughter Therapy.

- Emotional Intelligence.

- Percussion.

African drumming, Brazilian percussion and cajon flamenco.

Also develop partnerships with different activities and programs of integration.

585M2 is situated in the Plaza de Toledo (Santa Maria de Garcia) and the phone is: 968 293 569.

Municipal Center La Nave Youth Space offers:

-Theatre.

Youth theater workshop, and improvisation and creation

-Dance.

Flamenco with Angel Luis Fernandez, with Pedro Ortín Latino, belly dance Mayte Lopez, Alfredo Barbeito and tango with Sabrina Sykora

-Relaxation.

Stress techniques, Qi Gong, Yoga and Reiki (beginners level 1).

-Music.

Perscusión Latin and flamenco cajón Dani López, Spanish guitar, flamenco guitar with Juan Antonio Mateos and electric guitar with Santi Campillo.

"Taller de radio, broadcasting programs in practice.

All these activities are proposed for 16 to 30 years but can participate those people over 30 years if seats are available.

The Ship & Young

In addition, the ship has a specific program for youth aged 12 to 18 years with table tennis workshops, break dance, batuka, model airplanes and chess.

These activities are free.

The hours are Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 14 and 17 to 23 and on Saturday from 9.30 to 14 hours.
