The hamlet of Boatmen a development that will allow the expansion of the parish and the construction of a shopping area.
The Board of the Planning Department, which met this morning, has finally approved a partial plan of 72,000 square meters.
This new project, developed officially by the Planning Department and conducted by Urbamusa, allow the construction of 350 houses, leading to a significant increase in the population of the hamlet, as the town has approximately 1,100 inhabitants.
The partial plan will get more than 8,000 square meters of green areas, about 12,000 square feet of facilities and a shopping area for the installation of small and medium sized supermarkets and shops.
The type of housing is mainly duplex.
As indicated by the Town Planning Councillor, Fernando Berberena, this project is a great aspiration of the parish and will meet the housing needs of its inhabitants.
The partial plan was requested unanimously by all political groups, and meets the aspirations of expansion of the hamlet and neighbors that currently can only be built demolishing older homes.
