Camera: "With yesterday's vote won Spain and the Region of Murcia" (22/04/2010)

The result yesterday after the vote of the Constitutional Commission on the Status of Castilla La Mancha is a victory for "Spain and the Region of Murcia", while "the proposal of the PSOE lost."

Miguel Angel House said today that "what happened was that both the Government of the Region as the Popular Party we have fulfilled the commitment we all Murcian disagree with a regulation that would jeopardize or even shut, the Tajo-Segura. "

The mayor, who wanted to highlight "the work and effort" of the President, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, defending the interests of the Murcia Region, stressed that the vote has made it clear what position to defend the political parties.

In this regard, the Chamber recalled that since the first time "in the People's Party said that we would not allow, from the point of law or policy, any rule that would endanger the transfer and we have accomplished."

Thanks to this position, he added, "is not going to make the text intended to take away the water to the Region of Murcia, part of the Valencia and Almeria.

From now on, the Mayor called for further work because "the will of the PSOE is to continue maintaining these water restrictions."

So, House believes it is necessary for all the effort to "turn water into an element of territorial cohesion rather than a cause for confrontation."
