Tourism provides a route to the sculptures of the city (22/04/2010)

The Department of Tourism & Conventions, Maria Isabel Valcárcel directing, this weekend offers two ways to enjoy the city and the nature of the municipality.

The first proposal is part of 'Get Guide' and plans a visit to see the sculptures in the plazas and parks of the city.

Participants will learn the history of sculpture and the sculptor's Jester cowbells, Tribute to Human Rights, God Mercury, the biker Antonio Campillo, the Palms of Muher and Lady of Murcia.

The route is scheduled for April 24, after 10 hours.

Outdoor activity

Lovers of nature and adventure will enjoy the activity proposed by the Mountain Area Visitors Center of Light, which is oriented adult in nature.

The organization will provide map and compass.

This activity will take place Sunday, April 25.

The registration fee is 5 euros.

A bus will pick up participants at 9.30 am at the roundabout and take them to the point of initiation of this activity.

This route is coordinated by the mountaineer Murcia Miguel Ángel García Gallego.
