UCAM has welcomed today a course on 'Introduction of new industry and jobs for Telecommunications Engineers'.
The event, organized by the Association and Spanish Association of Telecommunications Engineers, have come to the students of Engineering degree in Telecommunication Systems from the University.
The course, part of the Socio-Orientation Program in lifelong learning, employment and professional development for new graduates ITT's (Telecommunication Engineering) l organizations in the ICT sector (Technology Information and Communication Technology), aims to provide students with an understanding of the ICT sector from the point of view of employment opportunities.
The dean of the Council and COITT general secretary and president of the Spanish Association of Telecommunication Engineers (AEITT), Jose Javier Medina, has lectured on "Career counseling for employment address."
The rapporteur, has shown the students what has been the evolution of the telecommunications sector and its trends, and opportunities offered by the sector of information technologies and communication.
Furthermore, the rapporteur has spoken about the new degrees and professional awards in Telecommunications Engineers in Spain and Europe, and the role of COITT in the ICT environment.
During the course, students also have learned techniques to optimize the profile and personal appearance, among which the development of curriculum as the preparation of professional interviews, the search for sources of employment or work experience.
