A total of 450 students in 3 of secondary education was presented today at the XXI second phase of the Local Competition Driver Education and Accident Prevention, which organizes every year the city of Murcia.
The competition is open to these students because younger drivers of public roads and therefore the population in which more is to have an effect if we talk about prevention.

This educational activity is organized and coordinated by the Department of Education with the local police.
The aim is to motivate students in learning and compliance with traffic rules, creating and reinforcing attitudes and habits of living, responsibility and caution in situations of risk and danger.
The competition consists of three different rounds and after a phase of registration and preparation.
Pre-development phase of the competition, in the month of October is open enrollment period for participation.
In November, the calendar is set and delivers the material (folder with bases, moped manual) for the preparation of the test.
During the months of January and February, depending on demand and specific needs of participants, a proposal from the tutors, the four local police officers go to the centers to expose, clarify, suggest or propose activities that help prepare testing.
The 1st phase was conducted during the month of March in each of the participating venues.
49 centers were enrolled (20 and 29 aided schools IES Secondary) with the participation of 4,001 pupils, 57% interest (the total of students of 3 º ESO in the municipality is 7021).
If we take into account the total Township Education Centers may participate in the competition is 65 (25 HEIs and 40 centers) we deduce that the level of participation for centers is very high (75.40%).

Phase 2, being held this morning in the hall of the local police, where the 450 pupils compete individually to pass the test, the score is added to that of their teammates.
The test consists of a questionnaire with thirty questions with three response options to choose from among them.
Each correct answer is worth one point.
Is divided into six shifts from 8.45 to 12.30.
The time for each is 45 minutes.
Pass to the 3 rd and final phase those teams who score above 80 points.
This last phase will be held next May.
