The City will rehabilitate the municipal center integral García Alix, located in the suburb of San Antolin, to provide facilities to communities and residents of the area and a gym.
The project is to adapt the existing building to house various municipal social and cultural.
The building, municipal ownership is protected, so we have to keep the walls and basic structure.
The rehabilitation works will include the demolition of the building that is not protected to install a new structure that fits its new use.
In particular, we build a hall, a reading room, classrooms, offices for the Municipal and District and other rooms for social purposes.
In addition, there will be a gymnasium with locker rooms on the lower ground floor.
The City Council has provisionally awarded these works to the UTE Pavasal Empresa Constructora, SA, Works and Services Hispanova, SL The company plans to invest 1.7 million euros and is expected to work in the works 50 people for 8 months.
This work is funded by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability.
