The literary career of Ramón Gaya, dissected by the eyes of critics and intellectuals (19/04/2010)

The life and work of Ramón Gaya will be analyzed at the conference "Paint the edge of an abyss with your hand," organized by the City and the Foundation CajaMurcia in events commemorating the centenary of the artist.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, has participated this morning at the opening of the course, an act that has been assisted by the coordinators of the conference, Cristóbal Belda and Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga, besides the director of the Museum Ramón Gaya , Manuel Fernández Delgado.

Various exhibitions in museums these days show the artist's creative individuality.

This is the case of the samples were opened in the Palace Arts Center Almudí - "The Return" - in the Museo Ramón Gaya - "Portraits" - and the Museum of the City - "Life and Creation" -.

Burgos is on display in "The Silence of the art", who in May returned to the region and can be accessed at the Museum housed.

The conference "Paint the edge of an abyss with your hand", which will last until Thursday at the cultural center CajaMurcia whites, discusses the vision of the arts of Gaya in the form of creating poetry, essays and reflections.

The vision professionals rigorous academic and literary life will be revealed in this course, which will be addressed from different perspectives the life and work of the artist and the privileged position reserved for him contemporary art.

Tomás Segovia will be responsible for opening the series of interventions this afternoon.

Tomorrow will participate Ricardo Tejada, Antonio Maria and Jaime Siles, while Wednesday will speak Leyra Ana M ª José Rubio and José Vicente Quirante.

The course will close on Thursday Trapiello analysis Andrés Manuel Borrás and Nigel Dennis.
