India, a country featured among the 64 actions included in the XI Festival Murcia Tres Culturas (15/04/2010)

May 19 will raise the curtain on the XI International Festival Murcia Tres Culturas, whose main shows are held outdoors, in public spaces in their heritage and tradition are linked to the history of the city and the essence of this festival, and which this year feature the Museum of Santa Clara la Real, the casino and the pavilion.

It is anticipated that at least 67,000 spectators attend the 64 musical and dance performances, symposia, film, theater, exhibitions and university courses that make up the program.

This new edition, which runs for 11 days, from 19 to 29 May, "will feature artists from 27 countries.

The cultural enrichment that diversity is the emblem of the Festival, which the City promoted with the aim of creating a meeting point between civilizations, noting that Jews, Muslims and Christians 800 years ago gave an example of coexistence in peace and harmony around the Mediterranean.

The music, dance and theater, along with exhibitions, lectures and film programming are designed under the premise "for tolerance."

The show opening is chosen for the Phoenicia.

From 20.30 hours on Friday, 28 to 24 hours will be held Saturday 29 Feast of the Three Cultures, in which 24 artists and 28 musical groups provide entertainment.
