The Socialist Group Aljufía District has organized for tomorrow, Thursday April 15th a talk about the figure of Miguel Hernández, starting the first of the acts scheduled for the PSOE in Murcia in the commemoration of the centenary of the birth of the poet of Orihuela.
The event has the name 'Miguel Hernández, Poet faithful unto eternity' and start at 21.00 in the Hall of the Cultural Center of New Javalí (Plaza de la Ermita).
In the talk intervene as a speaker Joan Pamies López, biographer of the poet and author of several publications on Miguel Hernández, to be presented by Sebastian Peñaranda, secretary general of the Socialist Group and Councillor Aljufía District in the city of Murcia.
During the event will also proceed to a poetry reading for the different stages in the works and life of Miguel Hernández.
Admission is free for anyone.
In this regard it is recalled that the Socialist Party of Murcia has promoted the appointment of Miguel Hernandez as adopted son of the city, which was approved unanimously by the full City Council of Murcia for the month of March at Municipal Socialist Group proposal .
