The government team continues to focus on creating a local police closer to the Murcia.
Proof of this is creating a new service under the name 'The Police in your community', which aims to create a direct link between neighboring communities and agents.
Thus, each neighboring community will be assigned a local police will be responsible for your suggestions, complaints or incidents that may occur, referred to the appropriate administrative body or mediating on issues that community police.

In addition to all the neighbors will be given a leaflet which explains the figure of the police community, its objectives and the above data.
Contact a community resource officer will be periodic but also can be scheduled at the request of a neighbor to translate the demands and needs of the body of the local police.
The agents will offer this new service has two main functions:
1 - Provide a police service approach to the local community in which they provide the police service area of Murcia and parishes, receiving information, incidents, problems and giving them the appropriate treatment, which will be timely informed citizens.
2 - Provide mediation, conciliation and resolution of problems that community policing: problem solving in conflict situations and their prevention or referral to other appropriate administrative bodies.
With this new program will cover different objectives and address issues raised by the city, mediate neighborhood conflicts, give a concrete and personalized response to complaints or suggestions from citizens and to prevent and anticipate problems.
According to the database that manages the local police, the municipality has a total of 5,232 neighboring communities of which 2,609 are in Murcia and the rest in villages.
This figure could increase if any neighboring community that is not included requests to be included in the program.
In total 157 local police officers will be participating in this new service.
This is another of the initiatives undertaken by the government team headed by Miguel Ángel Cámara and seek to create a Local Police closer and close to Murcia.
In this way 'The Police in your community' is added to other campaigns and launched since 1995 to the present and for the same purpose, such as the special care service for people with hearing and speech problems, service care and relationships with citizens, the police box, the Panel on Public Safety, the Police Tutor, the District Police and the Mobile Office of Citizen
