The Department of street cleaning tomorrow distributed 13,000 bags of biodegradable waste in the gardens of the city (05/04/2010)

The Department of Street cleaning and collection of the City of Murcia has developed a special cleaning service on the occasion of the Spring Festival.

Immediately upon completion of the services set for Holy Week, begins the extraordinary work that will enjoy a clean city during the week of Spring Festival.

349 working days and 171 days of machinery will be required to undertake cleaning tasks throughout the week.

In total 619 portable toilets will be placed throughout the city, and there is one in each hut.

Also, tonight will install a total of 90 containers in the gardens of Murcia, with the intention of providing citizens with the deposit of waste:

- Garden of the Malecón: 10

- Garden of Nitrate: 18

- Garden Isaac Peral (3 cups): 8

- Garden Silk: 5

- Chinese Garden: 4

- Garden Constitution: 12

- Plaza Circular (Round): 6

- University Square: 10

- Plaza de las Flores: 5

- Barraca the end of the Malecon, on the highway: 3

- Plaza Romea: 6

- Ships float assembly: 3

These 90 containers plus the 90 placed in the barracks, making a total of 180 containers placed as a reinforcement of existing ones.

This year, in addition, the City of Murcia has ordered a glass container with ale-hop system in each of the barracks.

These 47 containers facilitate work in the barracks, as the ale-hop system regulates the cube at different heights, which requires the igloo green and allows you to flatten the top of the cube to any door width facilitating the fall of the glass.

From 12 noon tomorrow, Tuesday, Day Bando de la Huerta, various cleaning equipment will meet the emergency and a group of flight attendants handed out 13,000 bags of biodegradable waste in the gardens of the city.

The proposed target for this year by the City's street cleaning and collection is that the center of the city of Murcia and the most representative areas are clean at 8 pm on Wednesday, leaving the rest of gardens and areas affected by the party to clean throughout the morning.

To do this, the service has been phased throughout the night to achieve the following objectives:

- Clean the area of travel by Infante and Carmen before 22 h.

- Cleaning the Gran Via less than 23 hours.

- Cleaning of the neighborhoods of San Pedro, S.

Nicolas and Santa Catalina before 6 pm on Wednesday.

- Clean the area of the bars before 8 am Wednesday.

- Cleaning of the gardens before 10 pm Wednesday
