The team consists of a social worker and a local police
The semes (Mobile Emergency Service and Social Care) of the Department of Health and Human Services has treated 68 people, living on the street, during the special device launched in winter.
This campaign was conducted from December to early March, coinciding with the coldest months.
The work was done at night.
In total, 61 men attended and 7 women, of whom 25 were Spanish and the rest foreigners mainly from Morocco, 15 people attended.
The team consists of a semes social worker and a local police.
During this special device is distributed hot drinks, provided by the Civil Protection SEAMUR the City of Murcia, blankets, sleeping bags and warm clothes to people who sleep on the street.
Samples were also sent 7 people to the shelter Jesus Forsaken.
The semes has enjoyed the cooperation of local police and serenity of the municipality.
In addition, the team is responsible for providing information, guidance, treatment, monitoring and referral to various municipal resources to these homeless people.
