Nine arrested for sexual and labor exploitation of foreign citizens in two locations in Murcia (31/03/2010)

Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia, belonging to the Provincial Brigade Aliens and Borders, have conducted a police operation that has led to the arrest of nine people, through their membership of a web dedicated to sexual exploitation foreign citizens in two places located in the city of Murcia.

The first phase of this operation took place on March 9, when it conducted an inspection at a premises located in the Avenida de Europa, de Murcia, who acted as a massage establishment.

As a result of this inspection, we noted that the site is developed lucrative prostitution activities of foreign citizens, so stop those responsible for these activities, two women and one man, all Spanish citizens.

Besides the above, at the time of registration were five women in local, dedicated, allegedly, prostitution, two of whom were also detained for violation of the Aliens Act.

From the analysis of seized documents and information gathered through research in this first phase, which was recorded at another venue in this city, related that he had been the subject of the previous inspection is being carried out activities similar in nature.

For this reason, last March 16 was held the record of this second store, a striptease club, where it was found that activities were carried out lucrative exploitation of prostitution of foreign citizens.

For this reason we carried out the arrest of six persons who are charged with crimes related to prostitution, against the right of foreign citizens on illegal immigration.

Two of those arrested are Spanish, two Moldovans, an Ecuadorian and a sixth of Romanian nationality.

At the time of the inspection were working at the local ten women, of which five were arrested for violation of the Aliens Act.

In the records has found documentation that proves the facts investigated.

The detainees were released after giving evidence and complete the formalities of the statement, leaving in place the accusations against them have been generated as a result of the investigation.

At the same time and based on the outcome of the investigation, has begun the process for the closure of establishments.
