The University of Murcia has signed with Caja Mediterráneo (CAM) the agreement set out the economic contribution of this institution for cultural activities and environmental, as well as scholarships in 2010.
The savings bank, among other quantities, more than 100,000 euros allocated to social grants and excellence and 65,000 for the project activities sustainable campus.
At the signing ceremony, held in convalescence, home of the Rector of the University, the president of the Territorial Council of the CAM, Angel Martinez, reaffirmed the commitment and willingness to stand with the University of Murcia, although This year the allocation will be determined by the current economic situation in the country.
From the educational institution is appreciated the efforts made by the CAM at this critical juncture and the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, had words of praise for the social work of the boxes.
The president also expressed his satisfaction at work with which is the fourth largest savings bank in Spain by assets.
The ceremony was attended also the regional director of CAM, Ildefonso Riquelme, the regional director of Public Works of the case, Juan Jose Mouliaá, and the Vice Chancellors of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz, Economy and Infrastructure, Antonio Calvo-Flores, and Students and Employment, Maribel Sanchez-Mora.
