The rector of the University of Murcia, re-elected with 67 percent of the vote (25/03/2010)

The rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, said at a press conference to meet the provisional data of the elections held today, which was presented as the only candidate, "We are very pleased with the results."

"

The chancellor has also indicated that "we will continue working for four years," and thanked the university community participation in the elections.

As for the results obtained by groups, said that in the group of teachers of the faculty support has been about 72 percent, which have risen 80 percent in the group of other teachers and scholars.

In the group of students, the percentage will be around 47-48 percent, while in Personnel Management and Services (PAS) has reached the figure of 77 percent.
