The Police Headquarters of Murcia has stopped, thanks to the help of a neighbor of Murcia, the author of a robbery that had occurred minutes earlier in a central street in this city.
The incident occurred on the morning of day 20 of this month, when a street in the capital of Murcia, a man approached a woman of 81 years and by a violent push threw it into the ground to avoid the wallet that victim was carrying him.
Alerted by the screams of the victim, seen at the site of several bystanders who alerted the emergency services, a resident of this city, 32 years old and who was in the vicinity decided to initiate prosecution of offender while warned by your phone to the police and reported what had happened.
After a few minutes of chase through the streets near the scene of the assault, the pursuer failed to reach its target and recover the stolen purse, retaining responsibility for the events until the police arrived.
Following the attack, the victim suffered a broken elbow and several bruises.
The perpetrator, 34, a Czech, was taken into custody and following relevant procedures was made available to the judicial authorities last March 21, after which he ordered his imprisonment.
The Police Headquarters of Murcia want to highlight and acknowledge the assistance of this city, whose action has demonstrated commendable civic courage and commitment to the security of all.
