The Department of Health and Human Services has launched an initiative which will involve 200 children in the neighborhood of Los Rosales, El Palmar, which will improve their quality of life and their families.
This is a draft and community educational intervention that aims to promote the normalization of the population of the district, identified needs and demand in the Community Action Center Barrio de Los Rosales and improve the quality of life, especially social and family areas, educational, health, employment and housing insertion.
Two social workers work with neighbors, families and neighborhood groups, to develop activities that will promote intercultural harmony and prevent conflicts between different groups, to prevent inadequate family dynamics that impede the social integration of children, coordinate the institutions working in the area, especially with children and adolescents, and enhance the municipal area of the Center for Community Action in the neighborhood as a meeting point for information, guidance and care to the population.
Likewise, we expect the population to participate in activities organized in the neighborhood, that families are involved in the process of schooling of their children, identify risk situations and mediate the family-school relationship, with conflicts between children .
The events will run from Monday to Friday throughout the year.
The City Council has finally awarded the project to the company 7 Imagination, SL, with an investment of 64,000 euros.
