Mayor Corvera House opens in a new sports hall which will benefit the school's students Isabel Bellvis (12/03/2010)

The 251 college students Isabel Corvera Bellvis just released a new municipal sports hall was opened this morning by the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara.

In addition to meeting the needs of college students, the pavilion will be used by the inhabitants of the parish and school sport outside school hours.

So the school community have the facilities to serve until the 17 hours from then until 20 hours will be reserved for the sports schools and thereafter may be rented by residents and groups in the parish.

The pavilion has an area of 1,116 m2 and is ready to practice football, handball, basketball and volleyball.

Its construction has been provided in the Plan for the improvement of sports facilities in schools agreed with the autonomous region, among other actions, has led an investment of 900,000 euros have been destined for the improvement of sports facilities of the IES Miguel Mariano Cervantes and Baquero, Murcia, and Aljada in Bacons Bridge.

This is not the only improvement implementation in this school.

A few months ago the City gave in to the autonomous region adjacent plot of 2,500 m2 for the expansion of the school, which currently has three children's classrooms, ten primary and three of ESO.
