The Councillor for Infrastructure and Community Services, Jose Arce, inaugurated this morning the new level crossing at St. James the Great, an infrastructure that, according to Arce, improves the traffic safety of pedestrians and vehicles.

Have already completed work made by the Railway Infrastructure Administrator (ADIF) in the level crossing line Cartagena Chinchilla-cross the Tower Street and St. Pius Romo in the parish of St. James.

These actions have forced to cut vehicle traffic in this intersection.

Work to improve safety conditions at this step will be to lift the track, electrical wiring, new barriers and coils, plus the installation of a stand.
