The Governing Board has given approval to draft three festivals that will allow Murcia enjoy free performances in the coming months.

The City Council will invest around € 255,000 in organizing the International Jazz Festival, the International Folklore Festival in the Mediterranean and the Roots Music Festival.

The International Jazz Festival will take place next May and, like other years, the program will comply with front groups on the international scene of this kind of music, as well as groups of Murcia.

The 43th edition of the Festival of Folklore in the Mediterranean will take place from 7 to 10 September and will involve a dozen folk groups from different backgrounds.

You can place other activities such as exhibitions, conferences, parades ...

As the Root Music Festival, also held in September and reaches its seventeenth edition, will continue one year more reporting and publicizing the landscape of this type of music.
