The Councillor for Education and Personal, Pilar Megía, and Environmental and Urban Quality, Adela Martinez-Cacho, participated this morning in the planting of a dozen trees in the Public School Fernández Caballero de Murcia.
The activity was carried out with students in kindergarten, 5 years.
The Selectmen, children, teachers, the school's director and president of the District Board, Ana Noriega, have planted trees in the courtyard of Children.
The objective of this initiative is to shade the playground and the little ones are involved in respect for nature and the environment, encouraging healthy habits in children.
During the past year and so far in 2010 have already planted 1,200 trees in a local primary school.
This college has recently completed works that have included the interior and exterior repairs.
It has been painted throughout the interior of the building have been removed graffiti from walls and asphalt has been placed in the yards.
