The Eagle Patrol will participate in aerobatic competitions in France, Italy and England (04/03/2010)

Eagle Patrol of the Academy of General San Javier Air (AGA) will participate this year in numerous competitions and exhibitions in Spain, France, Italy and England, as announced by his commander in chief, Bayardo Abós during the conference in Tourism School of Murcia.

Abós commander, who spoke on the history of the Patrol in connection with the granting of the Doves of Tourism every year grant this school, also advanced that its actions on Spanish soil contained his speech at the Parade Armed Forces, to be held in Madrid.

The head of the Patrol made a journey through the history of it, began in 1985, and the special physical and mental conditions to be met by those entering it.

Among the requirements, he said, include having a minimum of flight hours and be assigned to the General Air Academy.

These two requirements are those that prevent, today, which is incorporated women, "because we were happy to have them in our ranks," said the commander Abós.

The head of the Eagle Patrol said at another point in his speech, responding to a question from an attendee, who during his stay at the Prince Felipe AGA completed the course in basic flying aircraft CASA C-101, which is what they use for their displays and stunts.

In terms of milestones that already has the Patrol in its history, said the trip to the United States, on board these planes, to participate in an exhibition.

That flight, made in the 2003-2004 season was a challenge because of the special difficulties of the journey, its duration and because it is a single engine aircraft with a reduced flight range for a journey so long.

In this event, held at the Escuela de Turismo de Murcia, and which was also attended by other commanders and captains of the Eagle, also involved the center's director, Manuela Lopez Tenes, and the sponsor of this promotion of tourism graduates, Soledad Díaz.
