Councillor UI + LV in Murcia, Esther Herguedas, has filed a motion in Parliament tomorrow by asking local groups to speak out against the pension reform proposal to the Central Executive Committee of the Covenant of Toledo.
Herguedas has indicated that the measures proposed by the Government of Spain on increasing the legal age of retirement and the calculation period for calculating pensions are "unfair, unnecessary and represent an assault on all workers."
In this regard, said that the public pension system "is not threatened and enjoys excellent health and that even in crisis, in 2009 has had a surplus of 8,500 million euros and has increased the reserve fund."
He also claims that "according to the type of life and profession lives more or less, such as a bank executive, who lives 10 years longer than a worker, which, with the proposed reform would have to work 2 years for copper ten years his executive board. "
