Faustino Cava, professor of Labour and Social Security, today took over as dean of the Faculty of Law, replacing the position of Professor of International Law Esperanza Orihuela.
The new team is composed of decanal Gemma Garcia-Rostan vice-deans, Mercedes Navarro, Juan Antonio Fernandez, Luis Fernando de la Vega, David Lorenzo Morillas and Francisca Maria Ferrando, and as secretary, Ignacio Gonzalez.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, delivered to the members of the outgoing team silver logo of the University, who acknowledged the intense defense work and have always done its center.
The new dean focused his speech on the challenge for the adaptation of teaching faculty and facilities to the European Higher Education Area.
The event, held in the Chamber of the Faculty of Arts, was attended by numerous academic authorities and with a large representation in the legal area of the city of Murcia.
