A total of 14 concerts and dozens of auditions will take the music to many parts of the Region of Murcia during the week of 22 to 27 March.
These are the dates you will host the XXIX International Festival of Youth Orchestras (FIOJ) organized by the University of Murcia.
The hearings are one of the attractions of a festival that has always been known for promoting coexistence between Murcia and young musicians from different backgrounds.
During the week of the event, famous landmarks such as the Plaza de la Cruz or Santo Domingo in Murcia or Cartagena López Pinto, will host auditions in which participants will offer viewers orchestras, concerts small college and pedestrians.
One way to get the music into the street and offer the opportunity to enjoy musicals chosen audiences often scarcely accustomed to classical concerts.
On the other hand, the festival offers 14 concerts this year, five of them in the Auditorium, which hosts, as usual, the opening concert and closing, by the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music and the Orchestra of Murcia International Festival, respectively.
The hamlets of Beniaján, Head of Torres and La Alberca, as well as the municipalities of Cartagena, Lorca, Torre Pacheco and Yecla, hosting concerts this year FIOJ.
