"And it shows by their actions what their true environmental policy for the municipality, contradicting the many environmental commitments that it has signed, and constant green hype

Ecologists in Action has denounced to the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, which the city of Murcia to become developable land classified as forest land in the hamlet of Esparragal, in breach of the provisions of the EIS (Environmental Impact Statement ) on this sector and should include special rules to ensure the conservation of natural forest land.

- Black Thorn (Rhamnus lycioides).

- Salt cedar (Tamarix sp.)

- Wild Olive Tree (Olea europaea).

- Lavender (Lavandula sp.)

And other plant species of high environmental value.

For these reasons, Ecologists in Action has sought annulment of the Partial Plans Espar area RAGALA for infringement of invalidity contained in Article 62.2 of Law 20/1992 of 26 November and special sectoral rules breach applicable to undeveloped land on hills, and hierarchically superior legislation as the Land Act especially in soil classification.

I have also requested the partial annulment of all the plans of the municipality of Murcia with condition to forest areas, like the recent Algezares Partial Plan which aims to build 1,300 homes in the vicinity of Regional Park "and Carrascoy Valley, which with figures of environmental protection at regional and international levels.

Require the amendment of the same, so that the decisions of planning and urban development expected to be respectful to the environment, the carrying capacity of land and resources affected, and in particular forest areas of the municipality that must be classification of non-development.

The environmental partnership requires a change of attitude in planning urbanístitco the municipality of Murcia, and that actions undertaken by the City match has signed agreements on environmental matters, such as the Barcelona Charter, the Network Cities for Climate, etc.

The Murcia Murcia and deserve that the environment in the municipality of Murcia is not merely a matter of persistent green marketing.
