The Department of Environment and Urban Quality gives our biodiversity through environmental pathways and routes tours (08/02/2010)

The Department of Environment and Urban Quality has organized a total of six guided itineraries and environmental pathways to the Murcia know, enjoy and photograph the biodiversity of the municipality.

Itineraries, and a free morning-long focus on the short distance (PR) marked on the Forest Park Municipal Majal Blanco (Regional Park of El Valle and Carrascoy).

Start from the Plaza de Las Moreras (Private Torregüil) at 10 am and end around 14 hours.

The many participants in these activities are of various ages, and have in common the desire to enjoy nature in their leisure time hiking.

The routes have a full day duration and the movement is primarily by bus.

On this occasion, the routes will be refined on two main topics of great interest, the botanical richness of the wetlands (gullies, rivers, salt marshes, etc.), and geodiversity (Places of geological interest) of the Region of Murcia.

The routes are based on the Glorieta of Spain at 10 h and end around 18 h.

Registration is $ 5, to be free for people over 65.

In both activities invite participants to make and send your best digital photos to the Department, in order to create in the Municipal Environment Web a Photo Album for the International Year of Biodiversity.

Places are limited so you need to make your reservation in advance.
