Optics Laboratory at the University of Murcia, headed by Professor Pablo Artal, organized the First Conference of Young Researchers in Optics Visual, which will be held on 8 and 9 February at the National Research Council of Madrid .
The meeting was organized by Juan Manuel Bueno, a member of the Laboratory of Optics and chairman of Vision Sciences of the Spanish Society of Optics.
The first session includes, among others, the intervention of Dr. Harilaos Ginis, University of Crete, which will explore issues of basic science, during which graduate students will present their progress during the past year.
The second day was devoted to issues of technology transfer, patents and R & D in companies, among others.
Funding is provided by the meeting of the Thematic Network in Optics and Photonics, with financial support from the National Research Council.
