Polkas and waltzes of the Strauss family will ring on Sunday January 3, from 19.30 pm in the Auditorium and Congress Center Victor Villegas, in the traditional New Year Concert.
The proceeds of this concert, for which they are sold out, will be dedicated entirely to Caritas.
The music of the Strauss family, very popular and loved by all, will star in the second half of the concert, such as half a century in the New Year celebrations around the world.
You can listen to live the Magyar polkas or waltzes Alexandrina and The Beautiful Blue Danube and Emperor Waltz by Johann Strauss.
Jockey close the concert, a cheerful polka by Josef Strauss and carefree.
The director, Jose Miguel Rodilla, which currently combines his work as principal conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia with teaching at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia, has guest conducted major orchestras such as the Symphony Orchestra RTVE, Madrid, Radio Symphony of Prague National Radio Orchestra of Romania, or da Camera Fiorentina and Donostiarra Choir, among many others.
The Symphony Orchestra of Murcia was founded in September 2002 and the development of his artistic activity has collaborated with renowned soloists such as Mischa Maisky, Steven Isserlis, Montserrat Caballé, Miguel Angel Clares or Ainhoa Arteta and directors received guests such as Alexander Vedernikov, Támas Vásáry or Marcus Bosch, among others.
