Murcia City Council wants the public to dismiss the 2009 and welcome the new year with good luck, hence, on Thursday, from 11:00 am will begin the distribution of 2,000 sets of grapes of luck in the center of the city of Murcia.

At night, before the bell, in the Plaza de Santo Domingo will be an orchestra (The Orchestra Show Band) to liven up the evening's farewell and arrival of the new year and stoves that burn more than 2,000 kilograms of firewood .

In the Square there will be another orchestra Romea (Casablanca Orchestra) and butane stoves are installed to relieve the deep cold of the night.
