The City Council is launching a safety device to protect the site of St. Stephen (18/12/2009)

The Local Police Headquarters has launched an Action Protocol in order to prevent vandalism and looting at the site.

The protocol includes two emergency measures.

The first corresponds to a private security service, who immediately informed the local police of any development or incident occurring at the site and its surroundings.

The second step rests with the local police, which has assigned a patrol on each shift.

Watch This Protocol will remain active until circumstances arise that warrant its modification, keeping always constant vigilance.

The City of Murcia, fulfilling the requirement of the Directorate General of Fine Arts, has referred to this body that protocol.
