The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, was asked to read the proclamation of Christmas which have started the events planned at the Senior Center Murcia II, during the holidays.

Bascuñana referred to the important role of elders in the family life as transmitters of values such as generosity and dedication.

He also reminded that Christmas is "a moment of reflection, while it is time memories."

On the other hand, the Minister participated in the Christmas sweets tasting conducted by the Centre's users Murcia II and emphasizing that "are a way of keeping alive the traditions of our land."

The events concluded with the performance of the Coral and Rondalla del Centro.
