María José Alarcón: "Forgotten Murcia Turística" (15/12/2009)

And the municipal PP does not intend a single project that enhances the promotion of the municipality as a tourist destination

Socialist spokeswoman, Maria José Alarcón, complains that, once again, the budgets for the Department of Tourism & Conventions are nothing more than a pure and simple bureaucratic procedure confirms that the local PP is not the work of implementing a genuine policy can give a real boost to our tourism values that are still not exploited.

Thus, Alarcón, after appraisal of the budget for this council in 2010, regrets that it decreases by 21.3 percent.

"In times of crisis decreases as essential as this chapter, with no projects to enhance the promotion of Murcia as a tourist destination that support the hospitality industry," he notes.

Spokesman for the PSOE, the reduction of the budget highlights the indifference of the PP to our values tourism and hospitality towards one sector that generates more labor in the municipality.

Thus, Alarcon defended the adoption of a series of measures to encourage tourist Murcia values, although this-point-is essential to increase investment in this area as it does not reduce the PP every year.

The Socialist spokesman backs the creation of a tourism brand corporate image, improving tourism infrastructure and the implementation of a plan for beautification, signage, and cleaning equipment that not only covers the center of Murcia, but extends to the rest of the municipality.

A new class-Alarcón-end of our tourism and our parties with measures to promote our tourism industry and generate wealth and employment in the municipality.
