The Rector of the University of Murcia, in its austerity plan, has advised all members of the university community this year using digital Christmas cards has been prepared to achieve savings and at the same time, to avoid consumption paper.

The manager of the University of Murcia, Pedro Gálvez, the university has recommended to use an application developed by the Department of Information Technology and Communications (ATIC)-available at http://navidad.um.es - that allows the sending of such cards.

Management's statement adds that "the governing team, in general, make use of it in this holiday season, and the savings from social activities will take place in the regional environment."
