The City ensures the maintenance of drainage systems and pumping at the site of St. Stephen (11/12/2009)

The City of Murcia, on the request of the Directorate General of Heritage, has moved, as applicable under the Act, the concessionaire of the works of St. Stephen's request to maintain the drainage system at the site, as a precaution adverse weather situations.

The Directorate General of Heritage has reported this morning the City of Murcia the need to keep pumping and drainage systems that prevent the accumulation of rainwater in the excavation.

The same court said that this system helps to protect the Palacio de San Esteban in the event of significant rainfall.
