The Councillor for Culture and European Programmes, Fatima Barnuevo, yesterday presented the book "Historical Sketch of the Council Legal Good Men of the Huerta de Murcia '.
This is a play written by Julian Gomez Maya A historical legal Council Good Men, beginning with a historical review of the exclusive jurisdiction of irrigation in the Huerta de Murcia from the Muslim era to the contemporary age.
The text discusses the highlights of the court of Murcia waters and investigate the legal status of the Judges of Irrigation and the Council of Good Men.
It also includes major ordinances on the subject since the Draft Ordinance of 1823, to the Regulations of the Good Men of 1999.
This book is part of the Library Library of Water, directed by Antonio Pérez Crespo, and belonging to the Foundation Center for Local History Studies and Research in the Region of Murcia.
Murcia City Council assists in the publication of the book by the Regional Assembly and Cajamurcia.
