'Tosca' opens opera season Sunday (10/12/2009)

Puccini's opera 'Tosca', which is responsible for opening the first season of Opera on Sunday, held tomorrow Friday (at 19:00 pm in the Auditorium Regional 'Victor Villegas') their rehearsal, which may turn the media to take pictures.

'Tosca' is a Scottish Opera production with stage direction by Anthony Besh.

Finally, on May 9 at 19:00 pm and represent 'The Magic Flute' by Mozart, a production of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona under stage director Joan Font (Comediants).

The season will feature artists like the tenor Murcia Antonio Lozano, who debuted in Valencia and has already performed at the Liceu in Barcelona, and Gloria Sanchez and Consuelo sopranos Garres.

To these must be added the voices of young Cristina Sanchez and Carmen Muñoz, students from the Conservatory of Murcia, and also the Cartagena baritone based in Albacete, Emiliano Avilés.

Also there is participation of actors like John Bastida Murcia (in the role of Pastia Lilas in 'Carmen') and Antonio MM (as a butler in 'Don Pasquale').

And besides, the children's choirs of the Kodaly Choir directed by José Bermejo, in 'Tosca' by Puccini, and Fernández Caballero Choir, directed by Margarita Muñoz, in 'Carmen' by Bizet.

Other actors and actresses and dancers from Murcia will be added in the future to participate in figuration, and for which selection is made new castings and auditions will be announced properly.

In addition, the Symphony Orchestra of Murcia interpret all works.
