Furthermore, in the municipality there are 33 municipal sports halls, 18 swimming pools, 48 soccer clubs, 296 teams and 6324 football federation children in schools football.

As for investments, 70% are destined for the districts and 30% to the town of Murcia.

The main projects are:

-Construction of a sports court in the District of Progress.

-Construction of a sports in Banos and beggars.

-Improve and complete the sports facilities at Campo de Murcia with the aim of the sport to reach all neighbors.

The City Council has signed an agreement with the Autonomous Region for the construction of sports halls in Los Martínez del Puerto, Lobosillo and Sucina.

Among the new finds two projects submitted by private enterprise:

Also, construction will begin Beniaján sports center, whose works are already awarded and contracted, and the project for the construction of sports facilities at La Condomina.

Already launched the competition to design the proposed demolition and construction of sports facilities in the old stadium.
