The Mayor encouraged to discover the best of the artisan tradition of Murcia in the Exhibition which opens today in Alfonso X (04/12/2009)

The 98 stands, 10 more than last year, will remain open until January 5

The long-awaited Christmas gift this year can be found in the heart of the city, on Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio, where up to January 5 will remain open and Crafts Trade Show XXV Christmas.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, along with the Minister of Universities, Business and Research, Salvador Marín, today opened the fair, which this year has 98 stands, ten more than in the past year.

House has highlighted the significance of this initiative, which combines both the commercial revitalization and promotion of regional crafts, along with the revitalization of downtown in a few dates such as Christmas is.

In this sense, the Mayor wanted to encourage Murcia to "discover the best of crafts Murcia going to this display year after year providing a showcase for the best products in our market."

Thus, potters, nativity scenes, pastry chefs, winemakers, glaziers, metalisteros and processors of natural cosmetics are some of the crafts that will meet on Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio during Christmas.
