300 jobs for neighbors for free internet access

The Algezares Auditorium will open its doors in 2010

The Department of Quality and Modernization of the Administration and of Festivals and Popular Culture, led by Rafael Gomez, has provided training initiatives, activities and workshops for new technologies reach the entire population.

In addition, the budgets of the Department are mainly intended to improve care for the citizens and the promotion of festivals and popular culture activities.

The Department's budget is 7 million euros, down 20%, compared to 2009.

The citizens' information service provides the main novelty for the upcoming implementation of new check points to documents in all the municipal offices of both districts as districts, reaching 80 points of attention.

58 points will be installed in 8 districts and districts, which must be added the 13 that exist in the Municipal Information Service of the square of the Apostles.

In addition, an enhanced service by appointment and are consolidated from 9 to 18 hours uninterrupted, and attention to citizens in French, English, German, Ukrainian, Slovak, Arabic, Russian, Polish and sign language.

The modernization of the Citizen Information Service, through training, improving information technology, adaptation of municipal information offices for all groups of citizens and compliance with the AENOR Quality Certificate are the main objectives.

Also to continue the agreements with the Autonomous Region for the Single Window, and the Chamber of Commerce to the Business Desk.

The budget for 2010 is 997,300 euros, 1.3 million euros less than in 2009 due to the reduced cost of contract with the dealer service Service Office.

The planned investments are € 21,000.

In the area of Quality and Modernization of the Administration claims that new technologies reach the entire population.

The budget is 1.1 million euros, down 33%.

The City will have about 300 public places free internet access in 27 centers (13 Aula Free Access and 14 telecentres).

These facilities are held training courses, which will reach 9,000 users.

Also be organized in 2010 the second course of platforms (which can be viewed on the municipal website www.murcia.es) and will feature 400 users registered to receive training.

Work is continuing to facilitate the relations of citizens and businesses with the City, through e-Government.

In 2010 completed the recruitment of project activities integrated telematics system for handling and municipal information.

Also work to upgrade the technological infrastructure necessary to ensure the security of e-government services related to tax administration and collection.

The Department of Gomez continues actions to enhance the online presence of City Council, by improving the municipal website.

In the area of Celebrations and Popular Culture, the overall budget is 4.9 million euros.

In 2010 are scheduled to open Algezares Auditorium, a modern facility that will occupy 826 meters square and have a porch inspired by a staff.

The auditorium is in a redevelopment area of the parish, behind Main Street and will have a scenic room with 250 seats.

The budget for the 49 cultural centers in the county and 3 municipal auditorium (Beniaján, head of Torres and La Alberca), is 1.7 million euros.

The next year about 10,000 people participate in some 500 workshops, lectures and conferences organized at the cultural centers.

The three municipal auditorium held about 500 different acts with an expected attendance of 115,000 people.

Festivals item has a 340,000 euro that goes to the organization of popular festivals and the National Band Competition, International Competition Tunas, Folklore Festival, Jazz Festival, Guitar Festival, Music Festival and Root International Band Festival Youth, among other things.

The area of Festivals and Popular Culture held in 2010 all existing agreements with the various associations and cultural groups in the municipality to continue promoting festivals and cultural activities of the city and its districts.

Thus, we continue to fund groups such as fraternities, penalties huerta, sardine groups, musical groups, Moros y Cristianos, carnivals, etc.

Also make all popular festivities such as Carnival, Reyes, Cantos de Mayo, Fiestas Spring Fair in September, etc.
