Development of Nativity scenes activity in the municipality (02/12/2009)

Are only known the cribs made popular in the garden of Murcia as the Garre Antonio Muñoz, Stables, with nearly 4,000 figures, the Bethlehem of the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden, a typical representation of the garden, or the classic nativity scene as Municipal installed in the Bishop's Palace and the rock orchard of La Pava.

Murcia is one of the municipalities in which the crib is a deeply rooted activity.

For this reason the City of Murcia, through the council of Festivals and Popular Culture, led by Rafael Gómez, intends to promote and encourage this activity by awarding a grant to the Nativity Scene Makers Association Murcia.

The aid amount is 4,000 euros.
