The University of Murcia has saved more than 265,000 euros in the purchase of furniture for various centers through the use of electronic auction system.
In the electronic auction process ten companies participating suppliers, who have made a total of 248 bids.
The tender was awarded to the company that submitted a bid of 534,500 euros, down from nearly 800,000 in which it was convened, which represents a savings of 33.17 percent.
After the experience of an electronic auction for the contest of power, this was the second time the University of Murcia came to an electronic auction, with the collaboration of the company "Aquanima" Banco Santander Group.
The furniture will go to the powers of Optics, Chemistry, Fine Arts, Sports Science and Economics and Business.
