The book "The life we live," Miguel Sánchez Robles, has won the Poetry Award IX Dionisia García-University of Murcia, which is endowed with 6,000 euros and includes the publication of the winning book.
In this edition have attended 63 works, from almost all regions and even outside our borders, with participants from Argentina, Cuba, Venezuela, Canada and Italy.
The winner, Miguel Sánchez Robles, highlighted in the award ceremony held in the convalescence, "the sincerity and boldness of this book, which he said had" really enjoyed writing it "and regards it as" central to his career ".
The award was presented by the author who is named for the award, Denise Garcia, who reflected in his speech on the nature of literary awards.
Participated in delivering Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Murcia, Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga, which in turn has been chairman of a panel of poets also Sánchez and José María Álvarez Rosillo, Francisco Professor Vincent and the official Isabelle Garcia University.
The Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz, noted that the University as a public service will serve betting on "greater good as poetry."
In line with this, announced that next year, coinciding with the tenth edition of this award, will organize a series of recitals by the winners and other activities.
The original deadline for the tenth edition opens on 30 November and runs until March 26, 2010.
The originals will be presented to the Cultural Activities Department of the University, located in the College Azarbe.
