Two players from the first team of Basketball Club Murcia, namely the base Milos Vujanic and forward Roger Powell, went this morning to IES Francisco Giner de Lorca Ros to spend all day morning with most of the students in this school.
As a novelty, pointed out that the language chosen to ask the staff of Moncho Fernandez was English, so Powell had no trouble Vujanic to function and not, as despite being Serbian, has a great command of it.
The questions were varied, such as: Do you like flamenco?, Do you like Spanish food? Do they use special bed height, etc.?.
Some of the answers, even drew applause from those present, especially the sympathy of the basketball.
On the other hand, Powell and Vujanic were accompanied by the Director General of CB Murcia, Alejandro Gomez, Sports Director, Paco Guillem, and Sales and Marketing Director, José Miguel Garrido.
The Director of the Center and Professor José Antonio Ferez Rubio attended at all times to the representation of the regional club.
Finally, specify that this visit is made in the educational program 'Sport Stars in the High School, which aims to promote the practice of English and praising some values such as sacrifice, hard work and honesty, all perfectly embodied by elite athletes involved in this project.
