The national gathering of information services and university orientation that today and tomorrow discuss the challenges of adapting universities to the European Higher Education Area, was opened at the Graduate Hall School of Law, University of Murcia .
At this meeting, organized by the University Information Services, University of Murcia (SIU) and attended by nearly a hundred of those responsible for these services in Spanish universities will address how to work the siu and how to improve the assistance provided to students.
For today it has scheduled a presentation and group work on the actions of dissemination, promotion and collection of educational programs and a panel discussion on the entrance exams to college.
Tomorrow, day 27, will address the Director General of Training and University Orientation, Mercedes Chacón, and Maribel Sanchez-Mora, Vice Rector of Students and Employment, University of Murcia, will close the conference.
In the opening ceremony, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, referred to the crucial role they will play the intelligence services with the European Space of Higher Education and warned that fundamental change is now living in a Spanish university.
The deputy director general of Student Services, Orientation and Integration of the Ministry of Education, Angels Alegre, affected his speech on the importance to the Government information and guidance to the student.
Also present at the inauguration, the rector Maribel Sanchez-Mora, coordinator of Student Services area of the rune (University Network of Student Affairs), Fernando Zulaica, and Speaker of the Working Group for these services, Fermín Martín.
