The new road linking the Green with Sangonera Sangonera la Seca has been opened to traffic today.
It is a road of 1.5 kilometers long, with two lanes in each direction, central median and sidewalk.
This road joins the Green Sangonera from the new roundabout built in Sangonera variant, with the industrial area of Sangonera la Seca (where the shopping area).
The road has a bridge that crosses the Reguerón, cut steel construction with two arches, similar to the Puente Nuevo de Murcia.
The height of the arches of the bridge in the central area of 4 meters.
The median of the new road is decorated with artificial grass and 220 palm trees.
In addition, 220 trees have been planted along the sidewalk.
Halfway through the course of the road is a roundabout heading providing access to rural roads in the area.
This new road has a capacity of 80,000 vehicles per day.
The budget of the new road is 5.4 million and was funded by the Local Investment Fund.
